This Seed carrier can Bury itself
The E-seed is a cool way to plant seeds using nature’s tricks. It works well, doesn’t harm the planet, and could help grow trees and food in tough spots.
INNOVATION

The E-seed is a small, eco-friendly tool that carries seeds and buries them in the ground by itself. It’s made to help plant seeds in hard-to-reach places, like forests or farms, using drones. Scientists at Carnegie Mellon University got the idea from a plant called Erodium, which can dig its own seeds into dirt.
How Does It Work?
The E-seed is made of wood (usually white oak) and has three twisty tails. When it gets wet from rain or damp air, the tails untwist and push the seed into the soil. This keeps the seed safe from wind, birds, or drying out. It can carry seeds (like pine seeds), fertilizers, or even tiny bugs that fight pests. Since it’s made of natural stuff, it breaks down and disappears after it’s done.
